Rick & Bubba’s book is about marriage and the fact that you will not have a perfect marriage, but that’s okay, because no one does, because no one is perfect. This book is hilarious and informative at the same time. Rick and Bubba offer a lot of advice if you are in a relationship or already married and they also offer a lot of insight into their own marriages. They talk about a lot of funny experiences and poke fun at themselves and their wives, but in a loving way. The overall message of the book is that marriage is not meant to be perfect and Rick and Bubba want to inform you to be realistic when it comes to marriage, because many people enter into marriage thinking one thing and find out it’s something completely different when they get there. The main point of their book is that they want to help people because so many marriages have ended in divorce; they want to help tell you how to make yours work. This book was very interesting to me because I just recently got married and it helped to reinforce the fact that I am not perfect and my partner is not perfect and we will never have a perfect relationship. But we can have an almost nearly perfect marriage as long as we don’t give up and keep working on our relationship with each other. The information in the book was presented in a comedic manner, but was still informative and fun to read. I would recommend this to newly married couples or anyone in a long term relationship.
