My Shopping Trip (March 16, 2009) Shopped at Food-Lion for sales and used two coupons

Shredded cheese(3 bags, generic brand)  - On sale 3 for $5
Sugar (5 lb bag, generic brand)   - Regular price $2.39 
Chicken (Boneless, skinless, generic brand) - On sale for $3.95
Ziti noodles (large box, generic brand)   - Regular price $1.29
Knorr pasta’s (2 pouches)  - On sale for $1 each, plus used a coupon for 50 cents off 
Lipton noodle soup (1 box)- Used a coupon to make the item free
Michelina meals (3 meals) - On sale for $1 each

As you can see I bought many things in the generic Food-Lion brand because they were cheaper to begin with and many were on sale. Buying the store brand or a generic brand can save you a lot of money and you don’t have to risk the quality of the product many times. There are a few coupons available on Shortcuts that can be used at Kroger, but I’m saving them for the next shopping trip we take. These coupons can be used for things like lunches, snacks and dinners. Here’s the coupons I chose to upload to my Kroger card to use the next time I go shopping.

50 cents off Healthy Choice All Natural Entrees
$1.00 off on TWO Fiber One Products(All products)
50 cents off of TWO Green Giant Frozen Vegetables
50 cents off of Marie Calendar’s Pasta Al Dente
50 cents off Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
60 cents off of THREE Yoplait Whips Yogurt
1.00 off of any Bertolli Frozen Product
50 cents off of TWO Q-Tips Products(Any)
1.00 off any Carefree product
